Glossier Universal Pro-Retinol

A retinoid everyone can love.

Whether you’re a retinol rookie or regular, this one’s for you. Universally loved, Pro-Retinol improves the appearance of fine lines, blemishes, pores, dark spots, uneven tone and texture (aka basically everything), while nourishing skin.

Formulated with 0.5% pro-retinol (Retinyl Sunflowerates), an innovative hybrid of pure retinol and sunflower seed fatty acids, you get all the juicy benefits of a retinoid, with none of the downsides (irritation, dryness, peeling, etc).

HOW TO USE:

Designed for nightly use only. Apply a pea-sized pump over freshly cleansed, dry skin. Allow about 15 seconds for the formula to fully absorb, then follow with a moisturizer. 

1. To start, use about one or two nights per week, and increase slowly, so it works its way up to a permanent spot in your nightly routine. And please, don’t skip the SPF, as the formula may increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun.
2. There are a few rules though: Keep away from eyes. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Limit sun exposure. Stop use if excessive peeling or irritation occurs.
3. Ok a few more: For our sensitive skin besties, pair with a hydrating serum (like Super Bounce) before and after. If you’re new here, try a patch test first on your wrist before applying all over your face. If using other AHA’s or chemical exfoliators (like Solution), acne treatments or other retinoid products, consider alternating nights with Universal Pro-Retionol to keep skin safe and happy.
